ちょっと前に、ナカムラシューズ さんのインスタグラムで使って頂いたこの写真・・・

で、私が着ているのが・・・NAVY BLU-Rのインスピレーションにもなっている、ご存知U.S. NAVYのダンガリー・・・

この一枚は、このモデルを40年くらい着続け／見続けている私から見ると、かなり好みな個体…言い換えれば、Post O’Allsっぽいバリエーションなんですね・・・

This very one is my favorite variation…I’ve been into / wearing USN dungarees for 40 years…in the other word, this variation is very Post O`Alls…

まずは、袖の生地が横取り・・・

First, sleeve fabric is horizontally grained…

で、ポケットの生地も横取り・・・

Then, so are the pockets…

このように横取りが２つ揃う個体はなかなか無く・・・また、ボディが横取りになっている個体もありますが、個人的にはこの様に縦と横が混じったタイプがデザイン的にグッときます・・・また、サイズも大きめで着丈が長めなのも、◎。

The one with those two features together are not easy to come by…and one with body fabric grained horizontally exists as well, but I personally prefer this variation in terms of design balance and mood…and I like to wear larger size with longer length like this one…

レアだから／変わっているから、良い・・・というわけではなく・・・良いから、良い・・・そして、興味の無い人にはどーでも、いい・・・で、たまたまレア・・・しかも、偶然の産物という要素も多々あったりする・・・というのが、限りなく粋（笑）・・・

Not that I prefer this one because of its rareness…I do like it because it’s good…and I like the fact it is nothing for people who don’t notice or appreciate…and these grain thing could happen by accident (manufacturer’s way of work) as well…then, it happened to be scarce…I love these factors altogether…it’s the coolest to me…

ま、こんなところが私が40年近くシビれ続けている、ワークウエアの良さの真髄なのかもしれません（笑）・・・あと、私は昔のワーカーの写真や彼らの着こなしを見るのは好きですが、彼らのように着たいとは思わない、というのもしなやかなポイント・・・着る人が着方をクリエイトできる、ということなんです・・・

These kind of things may be the reasons for that I’ve been into workwear for almost 40 years… then, another point that I like is…I love look into workers in old photos…yet the fact I’m not particularly interested in how they wear…meaning I’m free from any rule or idol…I have a liberty in  how I wear them…（オオフチ/Takeshi）
