ここしばらくオーバーラップしていた、2023F/Wの量産前の修正〜2024S/S展示会のサンプル準備もひと段落・・・そんな中、”このニュートラ３っていいな” という気分も、記憶のどこかに埋もれていました・・・
I managed to take a break now on a long loop…since I started working on production preparation for 2023FW and overlapping designing work for 2024SS season…then I realized that I forgot how I liked this new NEUTRA 3 shirt…
このバージョン３がデビューしたのは、2022S/Sのこと・・・以下、2022S/S及び2023S/Sの展示会概要からの抜粋になります・・・

ワークシャツを高級ドレスシャツの縫製で表現した、一味違うテイストを持つ新しいシャツとして2016年にデビューしたニュートラ。今回のバージョン３は、シリーズ初のオープンカラーとなりました。バージョン２譲りの1910sテイストなアシンメトリーのVパッチ付きポケットと、シンプルでリラックスしたオープンカラーの組み合わせが、自然で新鮮に映ります。OK Riderなどのジャケットはもちろん、カバーオールなどと合わせるとリラックスしたムードを持ちながらもカジュアルになりすぎない、節度感が魅力的な大人のオープンカラーシャツです。
The 2016 debut NEUTRA has a slightly different style made to express a work shirt using high end dress shirt construction and sewing. Version 3 is the first open collar version. The symmetrical 1910s style V patch pockets inherited from version 2 combined with the open collar give a natural fresh impression. OK Rider or coverall jacket work perfectly together and look relaxed without becoming too casual. Overall a moderate understated balance for an more adult open collar shirt.

ブランドデビュー時から数シーズンは、当時マーケットに消滅していたクラシックなプルオーバースタイルやバンド・カラーのワークシャツのみ展開・・・と、シャツには特別なこだわりを持つPost O`Alls。長年にわたってワークシャツの可能性を拡張し続けてきましたが、ワークシャツをドレスシャツのクォリティで表現したい・・・そんな全く新しいアイデアから、２０１６年にニュートラシリーズが始まりました。ワークとドレスのバランスが快適な割合を保っており、普通に着ると力が抜け、さらっと着てもきちんと見える・・・通常のドレスシャツやワークシャツを着た時には得られない、着る人のクリエイティブなインスピレーションを喚起させてくれるシャツと言えるでしょう。
Post O`Alls has been working on then obscure vintage workwear style since 1993…all the shirts we had were classic pullover style when we started, then we have been experimenting fusing work details and high-end dress shirt construction from mid 2010s…NEUTRA was the first of them. NEUTRA 3 is a relaxed variant of its family with open collar and un-placket construction. You can’t go wrong with them on any un-tied occasion…

何はともあれ、ニュートラはワークシャツでもなければドレスシャツでもない、という微妙なポジションゆえの生産的な事情により、アメリカでは実現することが出来ず・・・
Anyway, we could not make NEUTRA in the U.S. due to manufacturing difficulties since they are not work shirt, or typical dress shirt neither…
2016年のデビュー時から、日本で作られていました・・・
So they were made in Japan since its debut on 2016…
そして帰国した今、バージョンがさらに進化中なんです・・・
Now, NEUTRA keep evolving thanks to the fact I live in Japan now…
この一枚は、フェザー・シャンブレーという綿ポリ・シャンブレー素材を使用・・・
This particular one is made of poly/cotton ” Feather Chambray “…
話せば長くなりますが、私は昔から綿ポリのシャンブレーも大好きで・・・
Actually, I’ve been into poly/cotton chambray shirt for lo~ng time…
そのココロは・・・見た目がコッテリしない・・・今で言う ”ヌケ感” （笑）でしょうか・・・
Why?…it has a true “laid-back” attitude compare to “serious” vintage stuff…
また汗をかいてもすぐ乾く、という特に高温多湿な季節にはぴったりな機能性もポイントだったりします・・・
Also, it has quick-dry advantage especially on hot and humid seasons…
コッテリしない・・・というのは、ブランド創業時からパッカリングなどの味わいにこだわり、特化してきたPost O`Allsならではのリセット・・・つまり、ワンパターンに陥らない為の戒め（笑）・・・というか、一つのことって飽きちゃうんですよね・・・
“Laid Back”…you know, you need a reset to break the situation since Post O`Alls has been seriously into developing “deep character” by utilizing seam puckering and other tips more than vintage stuff…then, you feel like doing the opposite thing…
今で言う、”育てる” というような独りよがりっぽいことをやっていると、突然さっぱりといきたくなってくるんですね・・・
So you sometimes need to a “relief” after being into serious mood for a while…by inserting a good “vacation” to terminate the loop…
と、いうわけで・・・コーディネートにとり入れるだけで、しなやかな気分と印象を醸してくれるはず？・・・
Well…they might give you a good and fresh mood and impression!…
