I’ve been waiting for this…Yes, NAVY BLU-F…

待ち遠しかったアイテムが上がってきました・・・NAVY BLU-Fになります・・・

We released “F” = final version on 2023FW season…yet I ordered this 2024SS version as well…

NAVY BLUは先シーズンから、F＝ファイナル・バージョンになったのですが・・・とはいえ、今シーズンも私はオーダーしていたんですね・・・

This 2024SS version has updated to exact sleeve length instead of roll-up sleeve as on 2023FW version…you know, so do the vintage…they come in these two variations, aren’t they?…Anyway, I like both versions…

実は、今シーズンは先シーズンまでの袖をロールアップする仕様から変わってロールアップしないで着られる仕様にアップデートされており・・・古着でも、なぜか袖丈がロールアップ用とジャストレングスのものとあってどちらも好きなんですよね・・・

This simple attire…just two pockets are there…they aren’t the most functional garment…

それにしても、このシンプルなムード・・・ポケットは２つのみ・・・決して機能的とは言えませんが・・・

Yet…I love the look…

その佇まいが好きなんですよね・・・

それを言ったら、1990年代から長い時間をかけて売れるアイテムに育てた大戦型の２ポケットタイプのカバーオールの数えきれないバリエーションを思い出しました・・・1990年代半ばの初代#1107 Two pocket jacketから始まって、POST 40シリーズ・・・OK 40シリーズ・・・SB 40シリーズ・・・それぞれ#続きのバリエーションがあるんですんね・・・

And…if NAVY BLU follow the same path as our previous wartime jacket series ( started as a plain 2 pocket jacket, then some of them became 3 pocket jacket from some point on),  it might receive some add-on design direction from some point…

そして、仮にNAVY BLUもPost O`Allsの大戦カバーオールのシリーズのいくつかのように、シンプルな２ポケットから始まってある時点から後はポケットやディテールを追加していく、という足し算的な流れになっていくのでしょうか？・・・・・・
